Session two: Teaching
Through Christ Alone
We don't work for salvation - we work because we've been saved.

Small group discussion
Tell us about a time you felt like you were fulfilling your life’s purpose.
Have you completed the Spiritual Gifts survey to try and find out what the “more you were made for”? What were your results? Did anything surprise you?
What is a practical next step to link the gift/s to feeling like you've found your kingdom purpose /life purpose?
Reflect on the reasons given for why people don’t live out their purpose (page 4-6). Which of these can you identify with? Why?
Read Ephesians 2:8–10. Paul reminded the Christians in Ephesus that they were “created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” What do you think he meant by “good works”?
How do you see the connection between God’s grace (Ephesians 2:8–9) and the good works we are called to do (Ephesians 2:10)?

Before our next session
Take some time to work through the following activities individually or with your small group:
If you haven’t had a chance to yet, complete the Spiritual Gifts Survey and chat to someone you trust to see if they agree with its assessment. Discuss how you could use these gifts to work/worship/serve God this week.
Reflect on the discipleship pathway resource and begin filling it out.
